This incident resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
